Dr. Nuveed Loqman did his medical graduation from Dhaka Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh, the oldest medical school in Bangladesh. After graduation, he worked in different hospitals and clinics in Bangladesh including Dhaka Medical College Hospital and the Institute of Postgraduate Medicine & Research. Subsequently, he came to the United States and did his residency in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical College, New Jersey. He was selected as Chief Resident of Medicine at St. John Episcopal Hospital - South Shore, New York. During his Chief Residency, he completed board certification in Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He did his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine from Brookdale University Hospital & Medical Center, New York followed by a fellowship in Multidisciplinary Critical Care Medicine from St John’s Mercy Medical Center & St Louis University Hospital, Missouri. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology from the University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler, Texas.
Dr. Nuveed Loqman can speak Bengali, Urdu & Hindi in addition to English. His interests are interventional pulmonology, COPD, Asthma, and Sleep Disorders. He wishes to serve the community in the field of his specialty and sub-specialty.
